I randomly ended up at the Squaw Peak Overlook with my cousin and several friends, just hanging out and taking pictures, I remembered that there was a new unfound cache further up and several others I still needed to find so when they went down the mountain I went up and had a fun afternoon caching in the mountains. The first cache was a first to find on :
Finally a smooth road.
I had read the
log previous where
Nolan had been unable to find it so I assumed the coordinates must be bad, I looked a little at the coordinates but assuming he had searched that area I moved out and looked in all kinds of other places, before giving up and leaving I noticed I had a little bit of phone service so I called Dick, the hider and asked him about it... He told me where it was and yup, there it was... within 2 feet of the coordinates.
From there I went to a nearby letterbox cache and couldn't find it, but I hid one at the trail to it.
I found a nice old cache after that,
Rock Canyon Overlook and took a travel bug
You Rock TB.

I then found
Pluto's Cache, I wasn't sure how to get to it but eventually spotted a dirt road that took me almost to it. A nice Ammo Can off in the woods.

A little further down the road I parked and hiked down to
Forest Gnome, an ammo can with a garden gnome sitting by it way off in the woods, I didn't bring my camera because the hike was through some thick stuff but I should have for that one.
And the last cache of the day as the sun was starting to go down was
Butterfly Circle Letterbox.
