Diamond Fork Canyon with firennice

Dick asked me what I was doing, I was watching a movie in bed and being lazy, he convinced me to go for an evening adventure and I picked Diamond Fork Canyon, I love that place.

We started out at Entertainment Tonight (GC1277M) , which I had previously found but he had not.

From there we found a little old dirt road and followed it to the end, hiding two caches. It was a "wee-fun-jaunt."

We did our usual goofing off and found and hid more caches... We were both feeling pretty lazy and complained the whole time hiking up the hill to Our First, for kids by Our kids (GC1TPPA) , I mean... it was like 200 feet!

Dick had to sit on the can for a while when we got there.

I think it's beautiful around there.

I grabbed Tree of Friendship by Woottons (GC1VGTY) while Dick sat in the Jeep "so nothing would get stolen." What a good friend!

We stopped by my cache The Sun Also Rises Again (GC13BXK) and hiked around, took picture of the old sun carving and some rock climbers and enjoyed that little gem of red rock, great area.

The next stop was cow pies and cactus by Art Vandalay (GC1HK3X), it really lived up to its name... plenty of both around. Dick did an Ammo Can photoshoot for me. I liked the one where I couldn't see his face.

From there we went to the trailhead to hike up to the hot pots and found The Latrine M*A*S*H Cache by Col. Henry Blake (GC23QGE), Dick's GPS was pointing to the right spot, mine was 110' off... not sure what that's all about. Another Ammo Can, it was apparently National Ammo Can Day.

We couldn't find Moonshadow - Cat Stevens by Dawg the Cat (GC1HZ46).

We stopped by a spring and goofed off some more... stinky stinky sulphur...

We were headed home for the night and noticed that were were going by the road that goes to Mollies Nipple by I Am Lost Again (GC1ECX7), it hadn't been found in about 2 years and we decided that even though it was dark we would take the 7 mile detour and go grab that one too... We battled cattle and mice but finally arrived and hiked up to it.
